Our 3-Step Proven Program
STEP 1: Going On Medicare
This can be a difficult decision and timing is important. You don’t want to miss certain enrollment periods. Not everyone has the same situation. We can help guide you to make sure you make the right choice . . . and at the right time. Most importantly, we recommend you do not apply for Medicare A and or B without speaking to us first.
STEP 2: Cover the 20%
Having Medicare alone can be quite risky. Medicare alone only pays for 80% of your Medical costs leaving the extra 20% to be paid by you. This can get extremely costly, and therefore, it is highly recommended you find supplemental insurance to cover that extra 20%. You have two choices when it comes to supplemental insurance. Call us today to go over the pros and cons of each.
STEP 3: Getting Part D
What is part D? Part D is your prescription Drug Coverage. We offer all plans in your service area. We can find you the right plan, based on your current prescription needs.
Insurance Products
Medicare Supplement
Best Coverage, Lowest Risk
Medicare Supplements can have higher monthly premiums (when compared to Medicare Advantage Plans) so with a Medicare Supplement, you can see any doctor in the entire U.S. that accepts Medicare. With most plans, there are no co-pays and no referrals needed. Medicare Supplement plans provide you with the best coverage. Our “go-to” plan, Plan G, provides our customers with 515 days in the hospital at no additional cost. With a supplement, our clients can feel at ease knowing they have the best coverage at the best price they are entitled to.
Medicare Advantage Plan
Medium Risk to Seniors
Medicare Advantage Plans can have very low premiums, sometimes even $0 premiums. Most plans also include drug coverage and some include dental and vision. However, most Advantage plans work like an HMO or PPO. If your own doctor is not in their network, the Medicare Advantange Plan can restrict you. Advantage Plans have co-pays and deductibles and with some plans hospital deductibles can be high which can end up costing you more when unexpected health issues arise.
Prescription Drug Plans
Part D
We represent all Part D plans in your service area. All Part D plans differ in cost and co-pays. We will personalize a plan for you, based on your current prescriptions. In addition, we are by your side every annual open enrollment period to make sure you are always in the right plan for the upcoming year.
Part D plans are sold by private insurance companies and administered by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid. There is a seven-month open enrollment period that starts three months before you begin Medicare. We will review your current prescriptions and find the company that has the best formulary for your scripts.
Other Medical Insurance Coverage
Dental, Vision and Hearing Plans
Medicare does not cover Dental, Vision, or Hearing. We offer ancillary plans that can come as Dental, Vision, hearing combinations or individually. Some Medicare Advantage plans will include some of these ancillary products.
